Bonn
The city of Bonn has around 316.000 inhabitants. The city can look back to a long history and is therewith one of the oldest cities in germany. In 1770 the famous Ludwig van Beethoven was born in Bonn - within the 19th century the university was getting more importance and is nowadays one of the best universities in the country. From 1949 until 1990 Bonn was the capital of Germany.
Today the large stock companies are settled in the city - the Deutsche Telekom, Deutsche Post, Deutsche Welle - to name just a few.
